A great opportunity has become available for a Part time Accounts Assistant and Office Manager in the Dungannon area.
- Working hours: Option of 3 full days or 5 half days – 24 hours per week
- Hybrid option available once training is completed (this would be a blend of WFH and in the Office)
- Salary range: £30000 - £40000 Pro Rata
- Performance Bonus up to £2K – Target Driven.
This role reports directly to the General Manager and is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and conscientious candidate to join a growing team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* To assist with the production of Management Accounts and other Financial Reports
* Sales/Purchase Ledgers processing. This includes maintaining and resolving any issues arising from our internal automated sales invoicing and self-billing system/Sage 200.
* Communicate with customers regarding payments, portal queries etc.
* Other sales & purchase ledger processing/reconciliation/monthly statements etc within our Sage 200 platform.
* Bank management including supplier payments, completing bank reconciliations and euro currency exchange.
* Processing PAYE and Pension submissions
* Processing monthly HMRC VAT returns and PAYE.
* Journal Entries as required (Accruals, Prepayments, Payroll, expense claims etc.)
* Assist in Weekly KPI reporting & Trended Analysis
* Fixed asset management
* Assist in grant claims
* Responsible for daily office operations including inventory, post, organising repairs & maintenance, assisting in cleaning, catering requirements etc.
* Assisting in office contract negotiations e.g. Rent, Internet, Insurance etc.
* Assist with other business tasks within the business as requested
The ideal person will have:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting role
* Advanced MS Excel skills
* Accounting qualification (desired, but not essential)
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting packages/software
* Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision
* Be a problem solver with a can-do attitude.
