About the Role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you'll be a vital part of the finance team, supporting accurate and efficient financial processing. This role is perfect for an individual with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach, ready to make an immediate impact. You'll take responsibility for managing the purchase ledger process, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing high volumes of invoices and handling end-to-end purchase ledger duties
* Ensuring accuracy and compliance in coding, matching, and entering invoices
* Liaising with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues
* Managing reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
* Assisting with month-end processes as required by the finance team
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
* Strong communication skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams
* A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
