The Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) UK Conversion Specialist is responsible for positioning the ACM Solutions focusing specifically on Nellcor within the NHS Setting. This role will be working primarily within the NICU, SCBU, Paediatrics & Labour & Delivery clinical settings with an enhanced focus on clinical and outcome-based benefits. The key to the success of this role will be networking with KOLs and a wide range of stakeholders in addition to fostering a collaborative working environment with the account managers, RC Specialists & BDMs. This is a UK national role.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including Neonatologists, Paediatric Anaesthetists, Department and Directorate leads, Lead Nurses, and EBME as well as finance and procurement teams.
* Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
* Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services.
* Conduct market research, including customers and competitors' activities and share with Marketing & OEM department.
* Implement market development plans/strategies and make changes as needed.
* Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including R&D, Operations, OEM department & Marketing.
* Actively seek new conversion opportunities and be on site with competitive intelligence (head-to-head comparison).
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* University Degree in Medicine, Life-science, Engineering, Business Administration, Biology, or another relevant advanced degree.
* Clinical background and comprehensive understanding of the healthcare system at the territory and country level.
* At least 5 years of successful sales experience in the healthcare market, with emphasis on medical device and/or pharmaceutical sales.
* Open and direct communication style and strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal) at all levels of the organization.
* Strong competitive drive with a high sense of urgency.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
* Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team.
