Job Description:
Main Purpose of the Job: As a Resilience and Emergency Response Apprentice, you will develop skills to support emergency response and business continuity. Your role is crucial in ensuring preparedness, effective response, and recovery from incidents, safeguarding communities, the environment, and organizational resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate incident response ensuring swift action.
* Develop and review emergency response and business continuity plans and documentation.
* Plan and deliver training and exercises.
* Identify and assess risks systematically.
* Maintain and improve management and governance systems.
* Debrief incidents and training to identify lessons learned.
* Horizon scan for emerging risks and opportunities.
* Engage with stakeholders on resilience issues.
* Complete a level 6 undergraduate degree apprenticeship in resilience and emergency management.
