Reporting to the General Manager, the Warehouse Manager will have experience in the audio-visual industry. The role will ensure the implementation of equipment preparation process and co-ordination of a completed work order. They will provide management, leadership with the Heads of Department and co-ordination with the Various Discipline Managers. They will implement agreed preparation standards and quality control. They will have an overall responsibility for the Cable Dept and the processing of goods both in and out of the building. They will liaise with other departments to ensure a smooth process. They will also provide an overall general knowledge of infrastructure and systems the business utilises.

Your day will look like this:
1. Responsible for the smooth and successful delivery of Projects through co-ordination and leadership.
2. Maintain continuous communication with the Warehouse Goods In / Out Teams, Cable Team, Discipline Managers, Dept Heads, Asset co-ordinators and Planning Team.
3. To ensure accurate Scan data and that all equipment is tracked by its location.
4. Ensure Hire Preparation Area is maintained in a clean, organized and tidy condition.
5. Manage stock control and reconcile with Solotech’s Stock Control System.
6. Work across all departments to manage stock control, movements and logistics for the wider warehouse team.
7. Liaise with other Solotech warehouses on both sending / receiving stock and movement of any items between sites.
8. Implementation of prep standards & processes to ensure all sites prep equipment efficiently to the same high standards.
9. Manage personnel of the Warehouse delivery team including overtime, reviews, holidays, absences, sickness and punctuality, working in liaison with the HR department
10. Monitor and address any training requirements for staff as part of a rolling programme of training.
11. Follow a documented process of evaluating performance on an ongoing basis. Elect, train, coach and develop team members according to the agreed resourcing plan.
12. Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
13. Carry out any other related tasks, which are necessary during the scope of this role.
14. Any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by your manager.
Level of education:
15. Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in the field of audio / AV
Work experience:
16. Previous, strong experience and knowledge of the pro audio-visual field or associated markets
17. Minimum of 3 years experience in an operations role with people management experience
Essential requirements:
18. Full, Clean UK Driving Licence
19. Right to work and remain in the UK
20. Ability to travel throughout the UK including overnight stays from time to time
