Role: Manufacturing Process Lead - SAP S/4HANA Contract Type: Outside IR35 Duration: Initial 3 months (with strong potential for long-term extension) Day Rate: £1,100-£1,500 per day Location: Hybrid - Occasional travel to London and international offices Overview: Our global client, a prestigious organisation undergoing a major transformation-is seeking a Manufacturing Process Lead to join the team. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping and delivering the global manufacturing process design (including P2F ) as part of a global SAP S/4HANA implementation. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role working closely with the executive leadership team, helping to drive real business value through process design, strategic advisory, and transformation delivery. The individual will sit at the intersection of technology and business, supporting large-scale business integration workstreams alongside top-tier system integrators. Key Responsibilities: Lead and design the global manufacturing processes across production, quality, maintenance, logistics, and planning Develop strategic, high-level global templates, not just localised processes Translate business objectives and transformation goals into detailed, best-in-class process documentation (L3/L4) Actively participate in shaping business cases and guiding executive-level decisions Frame strategic options for process design and clearly articulate trade-offs and value levers Act as a hands-on, proactive advisor who is confident in speaking up and influencing client direction Support workshops, create outside-in recommendations, and drive alignment across regions Ensure integration with best-of-breed solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, OMP, Salesforce) while staying out of technical delivery Key Requirements: Proven experience of hands on creation of the document (the Template) describing in detail how the optimised manufacturing process will run (within S/4 Hana environment) post-transformation - at Company Level (not divisional). Experience with S/4HANA is essential Strong background of Process Ownership within CPG, Pharma, or Retail/B2B industries (Consumer Products experience preferred) Previous consulting experience preferred (MBB / Big 4) End-to-end business process experience across manufacturing (not siloed in logistics or planning only for example) Personable and confident : able to engage senior stakeholders and challenge perspectives where needed Strong client presence and ability to drive workshops, plans, and alignment Fluent Italian is a plus, but not a requirement What We're Looking For: Someone who can "roll their sleeves up" and get into the detail-but also explain the big picture to the board A candidate who has experience writing and delivering process blueprints, not just reviewing them A trusted advisor who is comfortable making suggestions and voicing opinions, not just following a script Due to high application volumes, we may only be able to respond to shortlisted candidates.
