Executive Compensation & Reward Analyst Role Purpose The role of the Executive Compensation & Reward Analyst will be to support on Executive Compensation and Group reward activity. From preparation of year-end reporting to the review and implementation of senior leadership compensation changes. The Group’s rapid growth and move to a US listing has seen an uptick in the Executive Compensation team’s activities creating a requirement for a skilled analyst to join the team. The role will support both the Senior Executive Compensation Manager and Reward Director, International & Senior Leadership, with the opportunity to also work directly with the Group Reward Director. The blend of work between Executive Compensation and Group reward offers a genuinely exciting and rare opportunity to gain exposure to two important facets of the Reward function. The team will also be shortly recruiting a newly created Executive Compensation Manager role, this role will also support in both the team’s Executive Compensation and Strategic Reward deliverables. Accountabilities & Responsibilities Data manipulation and analysis to identify trends, provide rationale and narrative for reports, presentations and other deliverables. Providing initial drafting of the above deliverables or contribute to drafting of specific sections. Support and at times lead in the annual data gathering and initial analysis for the Company’s year-end Compensation reporting requirements. This includes for the Company’s US “Compensation Discussion and Analysis” report (no prior knowledge of reporting requirements required). Support with the annual compensation review for executives and other senior management. Maintenance of a central database of senior management compensation across the Group. Support with designing, implementing, and managing executive and other senior management compensation plans and policies, including short and long-term incentive programmes. Support the team with preparation of papers and materials for Compensation Committee meetings Work with stakeholders across Flutter – specifically Divisional Reward Teams, the Company Secretarial team, Group Finance and the Share Plans teams. Support the Executive Compensation team and wider Group reward team with ad-hoc reward related queries and project work. Skills & Capabilities Good foundation of reward knowledge – the elements that make up an executive’s total package. Very strong numerical and Excel skills – must be comfortable working with large datasets and integration of data from different sources for analysis. This is a critical skill that will differentiate you from other candidates. An Excel test will be one of the steps of the interview process. Desirable - experience in compensation benchmarking and modelling including cost and budget modelling and modelling of compensation packages. Desirable – some prior reward knowledge and the factors that go into how packages are determined. A growth mindset – the right candidate should have an inquisitive mindset in being proactive in learning about the intricacies as quickly as possible. Time and people management skills – be able to balance several concurring workstreams and have the agility to work with the wider team to prioritise delivery for our stakeholders. Attention to detail – ensuring our deliverables are correct and free from typos and other errors. Pace – ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly to new requirements. Strong communication skills – written and oral. Confidentiality and discretion – the work of the Executive Compensation team by its nature is highly confidential and at times market sensitive. This will require the successful candidate to be disciplined in what they can share with friends and colleagues about their job. Qualifications & Experience 1-2 years minimum experience working in Reward – either in house or as a consultant Skills and experiences as outlined in Skills and Capabilities section Measure of Success Successful delivery in supporting the Executive Compensation team and the Group Reward team’s outputs.
