Our client, a leading force in the household pharmaceuticals industry, requires an experienced Production Line Operator. To be considered for this Production Line Operator role, you MUST have at least 1 year of recent experience working in an FMCG-type production environment on a busy production line, in the chemical or pharmaceutical sector.
As a Production Line Operator, you can expect to receive:
1. £28,645 per annum
2. 3. Rotating AM/PM Shifts (AM 06.00 to 13.36 Monday to Friday and PM 13.30 to 22.00 Monday to Thursday and Friday 13.30 to 17.30).
Production Line Operator Requirements:
1. Educated to GCSE Level C or above or equivalent
2. At least 1 year previous experience in a production line or manufacturing environment
3. Experience of machine operation
4. Knowledge of GMP standards in a clean room environment
5. Experience of control measures and quality control in a GMP environment such as temperature control, weighing
6. Knowledge and experience of GMP cleaning procedures
7. Experience of working to SOPs
8. Strong attention to detail
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
10. Good communication and teamwork skills
11. Knowledge of H&S
12. Experience of working on a filling line would be advantageous
Production Line Operator Key Responsibilities:
1. Following defined Standard Operating Procedures and Departmental Instructions, to produce finished products that meet all the necessary specifications.
2. Complete documentation in a neat, accurate and timely manner, as detailed in relevant procedures.
3. Provide backup resource for other areas within the company, governed by production demands.
4. Participate in line/area/machine changeovers and ensure that they are completed safely, efficiently and successfully using defined procedures.
5. Work alongside the Machine Technician, problem solving, troubleshooting, routine Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) and ensure equipment operates efficiently to maximize output.
6. Ensure compliance with GMP and Health and Safety guidelines.
7. Operate the motorized runabout and reach trucks.
8. Ensure line performance is monitored and measured by using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and set Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
9. Actively get involved in daily briefings with your team including the Short Cycle Control (SCC), setting daily targets and reviewing past performance.
