Due to ongoing expansion my client is looking for suitable candidates with a mix of Public and Private sector project experience for the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor which will be a mainly remote working role with one visit to Monaghan every 1 – 2 weeks.
My client is a highly reputable cost and project management consultancy who have gone through huge growth over the past 10 years which is mainly down to the repeat business that they get fro previous customers.
Duties:
* Preparation of Development Budgets and Feasibility Appraisals
* Implementation of Value Engineering
* Preparation of tender documentation including Bills of Quantities
* Analysis of tender returns
* Preparation of contract documents and administration of Building & Civil Engineering Conditions of Contract
* Preparing Financial Reports
* Operation of Cost Management System
* Compliance with ISO Certified Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems
* Preparing Payment Recommendations
* Agreement of Compensation Costs
* Programme Analysis
* Managing support staff
Requirements:
* Chartered or ambition to gain chartership, with a B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying
* 5 to 10 years post qualification experience (PQS preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work proactively within project teams
* Commercially and contractually focused
