We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join our team to develop and deliver a top class marketing plan for the centre, working closely with our great range of shops on site and council colleagues. This an exciting role that will make a real difference for residents, local businesses and the wider area. About the role… You will work closely with Communications and Economic Development colleagues at the Council along with centre management and shops on site to develop and deliver fantastic marketing The plan you will develop will include targets for increasing footfall and engagement on the site, helping it to build on its success and become and even better place to shop, eat and play You will be experienced in marketing with a wide range of skills from website management through to video filming/ editing and writing great copy for a range of outlets We are looking for someone to own this role and drive the work forward with ambition and enthusiasm to make the most of this great opportunity for West Oxfordshire This is a new role that will be based in Witney between the Council offices in Woodgreen and on-site at Marriotts Walk. You will need… Relevant experience in marketing of at least 5 years Knowledge, skills and experience in delivering content across a wide range of channels including written, social media, web and more Ability to film and edit videos for use in communications Experience of working flexibly as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders Degree level qualification in relevant field Special Conditions… The post will be based in Witney and will require 2-3 days a week working in the office with ability for regular travel This post designated as politically restricted in accordance with the Local Government and Housing Act 1989.
