Based from The Horder Centre, Crowborough, this is a full-time, permanent role, working on a Monday to Sunday shift basis of 7 of 7 followed by 3 of 7. Early shifts are from 7am to 3pm. Weekend shifts may also be required and are paid at an enhanced rate.
Main duties of the job
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate Chef de Partie to join our experienced catering team. Supporting the Corporate Catering Manager and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring that the food is prepared and served to a high-quality and standard, assist with menu planning and preparation, plus much more. Job responsibilities
As a Chef de Partie, you will:
1. Support the Corporate Catering Manager and Head Chef in kitchen operations.
2. Ensure high-quality food preparation and service.
3. Assist with menu planning and preparation.
About you:
* City & Guilds 706 Level 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent C.I.E.H. Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
* Prior experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Excellent communication skills to build respected relationships with patients and colleagues.
* Exposure to menu planning with a keen interest in current food and dietary trends.
* Proactive and forward-thinking with a passion for continued learning.
* A working ethic aligned to our core values as a group: Caring, Friendly, Quality, Integrity, and Pride.
Salary: up to £24,315.00 per annum dependent on experience
