1 Full-Time (30 hours) - Senior Sports Educator with Business Development Opportunity
Inspired Schools Ltd is delighted to offer an exciting coaching position with a growing and developing company. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for coaching, who is committed to developing their skills and knowledge, while also contributing to the growth of the business through business development initiatives.
Since the business started in 2013, we have grown significantly, particularly over the past 12 months. Our vision is to raise physical activity levels of children in Primary Schools, reducing childhood obesity in the process. We achieve this through a range of services and products we offer schools, including our sports coaching team and the Inspired Playgrounds project, now adopted by over 90 schools across England and Wales.

As part of this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the business's growth and development. By introducing Inspired Schools’ services to new schools and expanding our reach in the community, you will play a key role in growing our client base. This business development element includes incentives to reward success, offering the potential to earn additional income based on results.
Responsibilities and Duties
This dual-focused role will include:
* Sports Coaching:
* Delivering high-quality PE lessons, predominantly in Primary Schools, aligned with the national curriculum for Key Stages 1 & 2.
* Organizing, leading, and assisting on sports holiday camps.
* Planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging, multiskill, and sport-specific sessions.
* Undertaking training and professional development to enhance coaching skills.
* Business Development:
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, staff, and parents to identify opportunities for expanding Inspired Schools’ services.
* Presenting Inspired Playgrounds, sports coaching, and holiday camps to new schools and community groups.
* Generating leads and managing a pipeline of potential clients.
* Attending events or networking opportunities to promote Inspired Schools.
* Contributing to the development of marketing initiatives and materials to support growth.
Skills and Attributes
The ideal candidate:
* Possesses excellent communication skills and is confident in engaging with school decision-makers.
* Has a proven ability to build rapport with children, school staff, and parents.
* Is highly motivated, organized, and innovative.
* Demonstrates a passion for personal and professional growth, as well as the growth of the organization.
* Is capable of working independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
* NGB Level 2 coaching qualification in at least one sport.
* Full driving license and access to own transport (willingness to travel).
* Ability to teach PE to Key Stages 1 & 2 and working knowledge of the primary school PE curriculum.
* High-level coaching ability and previous experience leading sessions in schools.
* Confidence and initiative to approach schools for business development.
Desirable:
* A degree in sport coaching or a similar qualification.
* Range of NGB Level 1 or higher qualifications in various sports.
* Current First Aid and Safeguarding certifications.
