We are looking for a level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. They will be providing 1-1 support for a pupil with SEN needs, working with individuals and small groups of children and providing nurture support. Level 2 staff provide more specific support and work under the direction of the SLT/SENCO. The basic entry requirement is NVQ2 or equivalent. Key Features: To undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning and to assist teachers in the management of pupils and the classroom. To support teaching staff in the development and education of pupils including the provision of specialist skills as appropriate. The reason for this contract of employment being temporary is to support a child with needs. If the child leaves the school or funding is withdrawn by the local authority that issued it, then a review of the contract will be undertaken and may be ended as the support is no longer required.
