Accounts Payable Clerk – Spilsby/Hybrid - £23,044 Benjamin Edwards are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk for an established organisation near Spilsby. As Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be joining a friendly and dedicated finance team providing administrative and operational support to the Management Accountant and wider finance team. The role of the Accounts Payable Clerk Responsible for processing accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner across all services, including preparing regular supplier payments Responsible for posting cash payments to the ledger daily To ensure invoices are approved appropriately Production of schedules as part of the month end process for accrued and prepaid expenditure To manage queries arising from accounts payable transactions and to resolve them in conjunction with appropriate stakeholders To support colleagues within the organisation with ad hoc management information and reporting To engage in, and promote efficiencies and digital ways of working To post miscellaneous journals and entries into the finance system To carry out any other relevant tasks which fall within the skillset of the role including covering for colleagues within the Finance Team To ensure that all mandatory training is carried out as required The ideal candidate for the role of Accounts Payable Clerk Demonstrate an enthusiastic, pro-active and problem-solving approach to the role Excellent communication, be flexible, focused, self-motivated and be effective at time management and organisation
