Grade F £32,076 - £35,745 per annum 37 hours per week Permanent We are currently seeking an Internal Auditor to join our Audit and Governance team. You will play a crucial role in providing assurance to senior management and members as to the adequacy of the council's internal control environment. As part of a friendly and supportive team, you will have the opportunity to undertake a wide variety of audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance processes. In undertaking individual audit assignments you will contribute towards the overall delivery of the audit plan. This will include the full lifecycle of audit assignments, from the planning and scoping through to final report and conclusion. You will also support the teams active involvement in corporate improvement and advisory activities, to inspire change and continuous improvement across the authority.
