Job Overview The Tax Manager role is primarily to support the Tax Senior Manager in ensuring the company meets all relevant Tax compliance & reporting obligations across jurisdictions. You will manage tax risks, coordinate and provide tax advice, and organize the company's Tax affairs efficiently. This is a multi-disciplinary role within a small team, offering a great opportunity to be part of a strong and ambitious team in an exciting and evolving market. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review GB & Ireland CT Computations, partnership returns Handle UK Tax Technical areas like CFC, CBCR, CIR, Pension/Derivatives (experience beneficial but not essential) Manage Tax Accounting and reporting including group reporting, FRS 101 entity tax disclosures & reconciliations Oversee SAO reporting & in-year testing across taxes Provide business partnering – explaining tax technical issues to stakeholders and applying advice Additional UK tax experience in areas like R&D tax credits and Capital Allowances is beneficial Irish GAAP experience (nice to have) Transfer Pricing experience is beneficial but not essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage multiple objectives Strong communication abilities In-depth UK tax technical knowledge Understanding of Irish tax (useful but not essential) Experience in tax accounting and reporting under IFRS and local GAAP Ability to promote the tax function internally and maintain relationships with external advisors, HMRC and auditors Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously and proactively Proven ability to deliver to deadlines Strong problem-solving skills Enthusiastic, energetic and resilient Strong interpersonal skills Experience Level Open to newly qualified/1-3 years of experience within Industry, experience in a PLC group tax department preferred, or experience working with/in large/medium sized businesses.
