We are thrilled to be supporting a local charity who offer vocational training and employability skills training to young people in recruiting a Construction Instructor/ Tutor in Norwich.
The charity opened their vocational learning hub in 2012 and provide an alternative learning environment for young people with few or no qualifications. They provide opportunities within construction, mechanics, catering, hospitality, health & social care and hair & beauty, alongside functional skills and GCSE’s in English and Maths.
Depending on experience, the role changes slightly. Instructors will be given the opportunity to undergo qualifications to enable them to become tutors. All applicants must have previous experience working within the construction industry and ideally teaching/ training qualifications, however these will be offered for candidates looking to become a Tutor.
The Construction Instructor/ Tutor will deliver high quality teaching and learning over a range of courses and levels whilst ensuring the health, safety, safeguarding and well-being of learners, staff and visitors to the centre. The successful individual will support all students in achieving their potential by taking a proactive, enthusiastic and flexible approach.
