Hunts Recruitment is looking for committed and compassionate Support Workers for a caring team working with adults with additional learning needs near Southampton City Centre.
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time days and nights available.
Job Salary: £23,816-£25,500 per annum.
Qualifications: NVQ 2 or above preferred but not essential. Car drivers preferred but not essential.

Your job role will be:
1. To contribute and participate in providing quality care and life experiences to vulnerable people.
2. To help provide a therapeutic, structured and relaxed environment in which service users can develop and enjoy their lives.
3. To assist in the overall daily management of the home by taking responsibility for coordinating activities during a shift as required.
4. To support and advise new and less experienced staff in the implementation of procedures and service user guidelines.
5. To facilitate good communication within all levels of the staff team.
6. To ensure that medication is administered in line with both Company Policy and CQC guidelines (training provided).
Additional Information:
All employees are expected to work in a flexible way when the occasion arises so that tasks which are not specifically covered in the job description are undertaken. These additional duties will normally be to cover unforeseen circumstances or changes in work. Training will be provided.
