To be responsible for delivering Occupational Therapy in the specialist assessment and treatment of patients within Acute Medicine teams To undertake an advanced assessment of patients presenting with complex multiple pathology/social issues who have been identified as fit for discharge. To determine their suitability for discharge, consider alternative options/treatment requirements and to maintain records as an autonomous practitioner To assist with teaching and supervision of new team members and students.
