We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher to join our Alternative Learning Team in the Stockport region.
We provide tailored, short-term educational programmes designed to support and engage young people who face challenges in maintaining school attendance and learning. We offer a mix of home tutoring and online learning for pupils aged 5-19, delivering personalised learning experiences to help them succeed.
You will be supported by a dedicated team, including our Director of Curriculum, Headteachers, SENCos, Operational Directors, and Managing Director of Education Services, along with our expert therapeutic team.

Minimum requirements:
- QTS or QTLS Qualifications
- Proven teaching and learning experience
- Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection qualifications, knowledge, and experience
Ideal candidates:
- Bring energy, passion, and creativity to lessons, making them engaging and dynamic
- Demonstrate initiative, excellent planning, and organisational skills
- Ideally have experience working with students with SEN/SEMH in 1:1 or small group settings
Role:
- Support the educational and social development of students
- Work with children who have SEN or have struggled in a traditional school environment
- Deliver 1:1 or small group lessons in various settings, including pupils' homes or community-based locations
- Tailor your support to meet individual learning needs
A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as you'll be working in different locations.
