We are seeking to appoint a Self-employed Teacher of Music (Brass and Piano) to deliver quality instrumental music tuition to girls aged 7 to 18. Notre Dame School has created a Music department of academic strength and diversity of performance with music taught across the age and ability range to A2 level. Peripatetic music lessons are popular with a high percentage of our pupils, and music plays an integral part in school life with regular whole school events, musical productions and a range of formal and informal concerts throughout the year. You will be able to offer a high standard of teaching across a wide age and ability range and be suitably qualified in terms of playing and teaching. You will be a qualified brass and piano teacher, but an ability to offer other instruments would be an advantage. In return, we can offer excellent facilities, an environment set in the heart of 26 areas of beautiful, rural Surrey parkland, where our ISI Inspection judged all areas of the school to be "excellent" and pupil behaviour as "exemplary" This post is offered on a peripatetic basis and further details of our School and the role can be found in the candidate pack attached.
