Role Overview:
Are you passionate about making a difference in primary education? We're looking for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or SEN TA to join our team in Oxted.
In this role, you'll help support and develop the education of children from Early Years to KS2, collaborating closely with teachers and other staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
* Support the emotional, social, and cognitive development of students.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
* Monitor and track children’s progress, keeping accurate records.
* Work alongside teachers, parents, and staff to enhance learning experiences.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety and safeguarding policies.
* Help prepare learning materials and maintain classroom organization.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification (Drama, Dance, Psychology, English, Sports Science, or similar).
* Experience working in a school setting, after-school clubs, or youth clubs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude.
* Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
