'Obstetric & Gynaecology / General Medical / Vascular Ultrasound'
We are looking to recruit highly motivated, dynamic, innovative and professional individuals to join an established team of Advanced Practitioners. You must have a flexible approach to working and a desire to further develop the ultrasound service.
You should hold a CASE accredited Pg Cert or Pg Dip in an area of Diagnostic Ultrasound or hold an Accredited STP / SVT qualification and appropriate registration (e.g. HCPC / AVS/ RCCP).

Main Duties of the Job
The Ultrasound department provides Obstetric & Gynaecology, General Medical, and Vascular scanning services, which are managed and supported operationally from the Royal Stoke site. However, clinical services are provided from both sites and multiple smaller community units.
Maternity services currently deliver approximately 7000 babies a year, for which we provide the routine antenatal screening in line with national screening standards. In addition to this, the sonographers support the early pregnancy unit, fetal assessment unit, and specialist antenatal and gynaecological clinics.
The General Ultrasound service provides out-patient services and supports our busy acute inpatient departments, plus a variety of sub-specialty services including head & neck, paediatric, and MSK.
The Vascular Ultrasound services provide out-patient scanning and support for the busy emergency portals and renal departments.
We are a modern department with a variety of equipment. We are a fast-paced, dynamic, and vibrant department with an interesting and challenging caseload. We provide a 7-day service including bank holidays on a rotational basis.
