What You'll Do: We are transforming the market for assured Data at Rest solutions and rapidly expanding our business. We are looking for a System Design Engineer to work across multiple Cyber and Information Assurance (IA) development projects. In this role, you will be responsible for applying complex and innovative solutions to real-world problems, contributing to the development of our unique product range. You will assume the overall system engineering and technical lead role on one or more IA developments and provide technical support for bid proposals. Collaboration is key as you will work closely with subsystem teams to develop cohesive technical solutions. Our IA products include hardware, software, FPGA, and mechanical development. Key Responsibilities: Lead requirements engineering and help define the technical solution across all design disciplines. Take part in the entire development lifecycle from concept to verification. Partner with the Technical Project Manager to deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality and performance standards. Ensure coherency across technical areas and manage technical risks. What You'll Need: 5 years of industrial experience in a related field and a degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline. Must have sole British Nationality (due to UK eyes-only projects) and have, or be capable of obtaining, UK security clearance (SC). Experience with the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, system design, and product validation/verification. Strong understanding of multiple design disciplines; expertise in one is desirable. Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation. Experience using DOORS for requirements management. Eagerness to expand into a broader role, suitable for system engineers or electronics/software engineers seeking wider responsibilities.
