About the Role
The Service Technician will be a part of our Midwich service proposition available for Midwich LED video walls and large format displays. As the Service Technician within this team will provide exceptional soldering repairs, complete repairs in time allotted while keeping to dealer, brand, and company standards, and deliver products to customers or service advisors on schedule.
What you will be doing in this role
1. Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on many types of AV products.
2. Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, and repairs are complete and to highest quality.
3. Maintaining a working knowledge of a diverse number of products and works to enhance and improve that knowledge with new vendors and new industry standards, practices, and technologies.
4. Replacing parts and components and keeping detailed, organised records of all repair work done on each product using our software-based system.
5. Communicating with service managers about parts ordered and parts required.
6. Providing technical detail to customers that require repair information.
7. Assisting in helping to provide estimations and quotations for clients who want a detailed repair quotation.
