Sue Ross Recruitment are seeking an Internal Sales Represensitive to act as the primary point of contact for engineering customers. Our client delivers expert tooling solutions and comprehensive sales support across multiple industries. They provide both standard and custom-engineered tools, along with a range of industrial consumables, ensuring customers receive the highest quality products and service. This is an office-based role requiring a combination of customer service, sales, and engineering knowledge. Whether you come from a sales background or have engineering experience, your ability to provide expert advice and excellent service will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and external sales team referrals. Provide expert advice on product selection, availability, and technical specifications. Prepare and follow up on sales quotations to secure new business. Process customer orders, track delivery progress, and provide updates. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Work closely with the External Sales Team and other departments to provide seamless service. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using the CRM system. Skills & Experience Required Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar internal sales, customer service, or engineering role. Background in industrial tooling, engineering, or manufacturing sectors preferred. Strong communication skills with a confident telephone manner. Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service, with training provided if necessary.
