About the role The Leckford Estate was purchased by John Spedan Lewis (the founder of the Partnership) in 1928 as his private estate, converted into a limited company in 1929 and is now part of the John Lewis Partnership. At a glance Salary - £12.21 - £12.60 Contract type - Permanent Hours of work – 24 hours per week About the role Visitors to the beautiful Leckford Farm Shop often treat themselves to a break to enjoy a drink and some food in the cosy and welcoming cafe overlooking the colourful nursery. The suitable candidate will be delivering enhanced service and availability to customers, through customer contact, replenishment and housekeeping activities, being flexible to meet the needs of the customer and Farm Shop. Some of your key responsibilities will include As a selling assistant in the shop you will be engaging with customers, replenishing stock, housekeeping and operating the tills to provide an enhanced all round experience. This is a customer facing role, high standards of customer service are required as well as the ability to work as part of the team and be flexible in your duties to meet the needs of the busy Farm Shop. Housekeeping also forms part of this role to uphold the standards of the shop so good cleaning and display skills are required. Essential skills you will need: Advanced customer service skills.
