ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Purchasing Administrator on a permanent basis.
This position involves assisting with administrative tasks, managing facilities, coordinating schedules, and providing support to the workshop and purchasing departments.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative assistance to both the Operations Manager and the Purchasing Manager.
2. Serve as a central point of contact for project related enquiries, in both the Operations and Purchasing departments.
3. Ordering workshop consumables, as well as project related items.
4. Chair weekly packing schedule meetings.
5. Perform Monthly Board checks at the start of each month to ensure all SOPs on the monthly board have been circulated and are on the Production Report.
6. Responsible for administering and/or revising Purchase Orders for approval by Purchasing Manager on a timely basis.
7. Manage indirect suppliers such as packaging and liaise with Purchasing Manager on updates.
8. Updating the Purchasing Manager of any delays or issues with suppliers/product.
9. Provide general procurement support during periods of holiday and sickness.
10. Assist category buying and placing orders for projects such as medals and corporate items.
11. Support with the buying and placing orders for projects, as required.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience as a Purchasing Administrator.
2. Knowledge of Supply Chain and Production processes.
3. Ability to work under pressure.
4. Strong supplier management skills.
5. Highly organised and an effective communicator.
