As an International Content Translator, you will support the Company’s operation in translating and checking the website and customer communications in Italian.
You will prepare content for various areas of our website in Italian, alongside being responsible for coordinating, translating, proofreading and testing content for a wide range of translation projects.
You will contribute to enhancing our customer experience by delivering up-to-date and localised translations and follow best practice to provide relevant, targeted content to our customers.
This is a full-time position, typically working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30, but full flexibility is required.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
You will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK on your first day of employment.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Fluent Italian language skills, with an excellent standard of English.
* Previous translation or similar experience would be beneficial.
* Sports knowledge would be advantageous.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Self-motivated.
* Ability to work on tasks independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise work under pressure.
Main Responsibilities
* Coordinating a wide range of translation projects.
* Translating, proofreading and testing our marketing emails and web messages.
* Preparing content for various areas of our website in Italian.
* Reviewing and amending new and existing site content and images.
* Supporting team leaders and supervisors in the completion of daily ad-hoc tasks.
