A warm, relaxed, and welcoming family is looking to welcome a nanny into their home.
The nanny will be responsible for the physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs of their 9-month-old baby girl.
The family loves spending time in the garden, playing peekaboo, and reading stories to their daughter. They would like the nanny to continue engaging her in Storytime, nature exploration, and sensory activities. The nanny should be attentive to the baby girl’s cues and developmental needs, ensuring she thrives and grows into a happy little girl.
They are looking for someone with a maternal, considerate, and gentle nature who is passionate about supporting children to feel fulfilled and loved every day. It is important for them to find a nanny who will stay with their family long-term and be part of their journey as it grows.
Responsibilities include:
1. Sterilising bottles
2. Supporting the parents by washing the baby’s clothes
3. Maintaining child-friendly areas
4. Planning age-appropriate activities
5. Loading/unloading the dishwasher
6. Preparing homemade weaning-friendly meals
Their home is based in a quiet quintessential village near the town of Shrewsbury. They live in a graded property which they love and take pride in maintaining. The home is a calm and nurturing environment. Both parents work from home in separate areas of the house.
Location of the job: Near Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Minimum experience Level for this job: Experience in a similar role
Hours of work: 8:45am – 5:30pm
Days required: Monday – Friday
Pets in the home: 2 cats
Driving required: Not essential but nanny is required to commute to a rural location
Job Start Date: 1st September 2025
Pay: £35,100 gross per annum
