Due to the continued growth of our business, we are now looking to recruit an additional Semi-Skilled Maintenance Operative in our Facilities team based at our site in Scunthorpe Quartz. Main responsibilities: Carry out PPM’s to set standards and update appropriate records Carry out minor mechanical, electrical (where qualified) and plumbing works Conduct unplanned maintenance tasks as and when requested by management team Inspect and troubleshoot equipment i.e. ventilation Check functionality of safety systems i.e. fire detection, protection etc Adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements (including risk assessments and any accident investigations) Report to Maintenance Facilities Team Leader About You Desired skills and knowledge: Ability to demonstrate experience of preventative maintenance activities Good working knowledge of machine maintenance and operation, and of computerised maintenance management systems Previous experience of mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing works, preferably within a facilities background Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline IT literate with excellent communication skills Pro-active attitude About The Company Wren Kitchens is the UK's number 1 kitchen retailer Wren is a privately-owned, family-run business which is passionate about kitchens and delivering a world-class customer experience.
