AIS is looking for a Manufacturing Technician who will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring product quality and supporting efficient manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Running various machinery, including advanced equipment like the Expander, Coating Line, Expanding Line, in line with manufacturing instructions.
* Setting up and running machines for production, adjusting settings and ensuring optimal performance.
* Adding and mixing materials in the correct quantities and at the appropriate times to ensure process continuity and product quality.
* Completing all quality and technical checks to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Maintaining precise records of quality checks, production outputs and any adjustments made during production.
* Monitoring stock levels of consumable items, reporting shortages and ensuring timely replenishment to maintain production flow.
* Providing labour support across the entire production setup, assisting with processes and other production activities as needed.
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and assisting in the optimisation of processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Maintaining tools and equipment, including routine cleaning and safe storage to ensure equipment longevity and optimal performance.
* Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organisation in all working areas, taking pride in the workplace.
* Working in line with the requirements of quality, health & safety and environmental management systems.
Ideal Candidates Will Have
* Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, with the ability to follow precise written instructions.
* Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accurate completion of all tasks and associated paperwork.
* The capability to work efficiently under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
* The ability to work independently on own initiative as well as being a dedicated team player.
Pay & Benefits
* Salary: £32,306.00 per annum
* Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-4.45pm, Friday 8am-12.30pm
