We are seeking a Module Leader and Lecturer (maternity cover) at the School of Adventure Studies. The role will involve the specialist delivery, assessment and leadership on our Outdoor Therapeutic Practice Post Graduate Certificate.

Position: We are seeking a Module Leader and Lecturer (maternity cover) at the School of Adventure Studies. The role will involve the specialist delivery, assessment and leadership on our ‘Outdoor Therapeutic Practice’ Post Graduate Certificate.
Responsibilities: The post involves the leadership and delivery of a module called ‘Therapeutic Programming in Outdoor and Adventurous Practice’. It is delivered as an Online/Residential module with a six-day residential in Spring. This post will include the module leadership and department and University meetings.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidate will ideally be working in a similar role in Higher Education or above and have Practitioner experience in Outdoor Therapeutic Practice in a range of adventure disciplines.
The online delivery will start w/c 20th January and the residential is planned close to Fort William, Scotland w/c 28th April.
Dates: Hours are spread across the period January – June 2025. Start date of contract w/c 6th January.
Salary: £40,170 - £48,357 per annum, pro rata
Location: School of Adventure Studies is based in Fort William, but this module
can be delivered online remotely with an in person residential commitment near Fort William in April/May.
Working Hours: 91 hours (4.136 per week), Fixed term for 22 weeks over Semester 2 (maternity cover)
