Our client is a leading international company engaged with Intelligent Power and Control Solutions for circuit board-based electrical systems in the area of power management, sensors, and controls in its customers' industries and the automotive market. They have an international base, with operations across the UK, Europe, Asia, and America.
This role is an exciting new opportunity to manage a portfolio of customers across the Manchester/North West region.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Implementation of defined targets and sales strategies for the assigned region/customer.
2. Responsibility/coordination of the sales activities & ADMs in a specific region.
3. Development of the market, sectors, and customers in this region.
4. Determination of market potential across strategic accounts.
5. Growth/Business Development through the acquisition of new projects/new customers.
6. Development of vision and strategy with the Head of Sales and design/execution of suitable sales activities (Smart Account Plan for key accounts, vision, and business plan).
7. Development of ideas and collaboration for the continuous improvement of processes, systems, and pathways for a successful sales organization, with high growth at the center.
8. Ensuring the implementation and focus of all operational activities.
9. Ensuring customer results and continual relationship management.
10. Responsibility for compliance with company policies and guidelines.
11. Team management for all field and internal sales, including the creation of personal development plans and ongoing training requirements.
Candidate Profile:
1. Must have 3-5 years of accountable individual B2B sales experience within the electronics, electricity, or related components (e.g., vehicles, construction machines, etc.) industry.
2. Proven experience in a design-led sales environment whereby you are familiar with working with members of design, procurement, and/or engineering teams.
3. Must have strong negotiation skills, a dynamic/driven approach, and be motivated to push for results.
4. Ability to work remotely, but still have the ability to work with the team and occasionally travel to the office.
5. Experience in a team-leading function, guiding and motivating people.
