JOB ROLE: Support Worker
LOCATION: Newport, Gwent
PAY RATE: £12.00 - £12.70 per hour

About Manor Lodge:
We provide support at varying levels, depending on the assessed needs of the individual, designed specifically to accommodate the complex needs of a wide range of people. This can include individuals who have Acquired Brain Injuries, Learning Disabilities, or Mental Health needs.

Experience within the care sector is not essential, as we offer full training. However, you need enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every day to ensure we support people in living happy and healthy lives.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service, including:
1. Prompting service users' independence while helping them live a fulfilling life
2. Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
3. Maintaining and assisting with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administering medication
4. Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills, and shopping
5. Assisting with personal care (depending on the service user)
6. Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking
