Adams Ward is located at the Beautiful Finchley Memorial Hospital in
North Finchley. Finchley Memorial Hospital has an excellent free ample
parking for staff, excellent transport link through Northern Line and
Public Buses to London

As a Band 5 staff nurse you will find that there is excellent opportunity and support for your personal development, your opinion will count, and you will be supported in your progression to be the best you can be.
Through CLCH Academy you will be supported to develop required
knowledge and skills to progress to advanced practitioner in discharge to
assess or other areas in the Trust.
It is not essential that you have specific experience as your development
will be supported where necessary. The willingness to learn and being
opened to new ideas is what we need. The ward manager with the support
of the Matron are always in the ward to lead the team and share our
vision with our patients.
To provide work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing nursing and rehabilitation for 9 rehabilitation beds.
To undertake nursing assessments without supervision and todeterminepatient need/risk and plan, implement and evaluate theircare
In the absence of senior colleagues take charge of the unit, manage the admission of patients, provide care and discharge planning whilst contributing to the effective working of the Rehabilitation Unit.
To work in partnership with multi-disciplinary members of the team, otherprofessionalsand agencies, to meet the health and rehabilitation needs of patients within the Rehabilitation Unit.
Tomaintainstandards of clinical nursing care using an evidence-based approach within the Unit, incorporating principles and values of clinical governance.
Ensure effective communication ismaintainedat all times, whilst providing support,supervisionand clinicalexpertiseto all members of the team.
Toparticipatein the professional development and preceptorship/mentorship of clinical support workers, post basiclearnersand students.
