Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paraplanner to join our growing financial planning team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial planners by attending meetings, preparing comprehensive reports, and conducting thorough analysis, to help deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial planning and compliance, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities
1. Conduct thorough research and analysis on financial products, investment options, and tax planning strategies.
2. Prepare high-quality suitability reports and financial planning recommendations in line with regulatory requirements.
3. Assist financial advisers in developing and implementing client financial plans.
4. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports for client meetings.
5. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their financial plans.
6. Collaborate with financial planners to ensure all client needs are met promptly and efficiently.
7. Utilise IT tools to manage data and streamline processes, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
8. Keep up to date with industry regulations, market trends, and financial planning best practices.
Skills & Experience
1. Experience in a paraplanning role within a financial advice firm.
2. Strong knowledge of financial products, tax, pensions, and investment planning.
3. Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
4. Ability to interpret and apply financial regulations and compliance requirements.
5. Proficiency in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Motivated with strong organisational skills and great attention to detail.
7. A proactive and professional approach to work with excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
1. Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent.
