About the role We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our busy Brand, Marketing and Future Students team. You will work closely with our Senior Brand Designer and Junior Graphic Designer to produce on-brand design work of a consistent quality for both internal and external audiences across both print and digital mediums. Working in the Brand Team, the post holder will supply high quality, on-brand design embracing innovative thought process and on trend methods, providing work to a diverse range briefs from a variety of University stakeholders, as well as being a strong advocate and advisor for the AUB brand, all to support AUB’s recruitment drive. The post holder will have a solid knowledge of technical practices relevant to graphic design, including design software, printing methods and digital formats. They will also have strong knowledge of HTML5 production and design. They will provide support to the Senior Brand Designer and guidance and mentorship to the Junior Graphic Designer, as well as leading on solo projects where required. Sitting within the Brand Team, the role will support the student recruitment effort and the planning and implementation of content for campaigns. The Graphic Designer will also be responsible for maintaining a well-organised and accessible image bank that is shared for use across the University. Educated to degree level, the successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also have confidence in communicating and working with external stakeholders and being responsible for stock ordering.
