SEN Teaching Assistant – Hertfordshire (Watford) - Immediately/April Start Are you a recent Graduate in Psychology, Criminology or Sociology? Do you have experience supporting and working with Special educational needs such as ASD and Challenging Behaviour? If so, we are currently working with primary, SEN and Secondary schools in Hertfordshire who are looking for the next generation of educators to work alongside students with SEN including, ASD, ADHD, SEMH and PTSD, alongside other needs. This role is perfect for any Graduates looking to gain experience working alongside ASD and who are looking to go onto a career within education. Job Description – SEN Teaching Assistant – Hertfordshire · Mentoring behaviour and working closely with ASD and different SEN. · Long-term and permanent contracts available. · £95-115 per day Umbrella. Requirements. Experience working with children in an educational setting is required; experience in special education is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with students and parents. A genuine passion for educating young people and supporting their individual learning needs. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative in lesson planning and classroom management. Understanding of the challenges faced by students with autism or other special educational needs is advantageous.
