We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner/ Non Medical Prescriber to join our Primary Care team at HMP Belmarsh, a category A prison located in Greenwich.

HMP Belmarsh is a male, maximum security prison that has a capacity for 910 inmates. Healthcare at HMP Belmarsh includes Dentists, Primary Care, Mental Health, Substance abuse, and Pharmacy.
Hours
Primarily Mon - Fri 0800 - 1600 for SMS clinics, potentially some lates (1400-2200) for reception cover.
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £68,680 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main Duties of the Job
As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner / Non Medical Prescriber, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team.
* This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including mental health and substance misuse practitioners.
* Act as a role model ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times.
* Support senior clinicians on site as part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients.
* As a clinical expert in your field, work with the team to ensure patient safety, management of complex cases, and the most up-to-date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.

Qualifications
Essential
* Registered Nurse Adult, Mental Health with current NMC registration or Registered Paramedic with current HCPC registration.
* Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification.
* MSc in Advanced Practice.
* Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner following best practice guidance and identifying risk to patients.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
