Job Purpose
The Customer Advisor Advanced role within the Developer Services and Metering team is a wide-ranging role supporting a number of activities. This includes frontline customer service activities, mailbox management, ownership of customer and developer queries, tracking of new connections and back office administrative support for the wider team.
Job Accountabilities
1. Dealing with telephone queries from customers
2. Interrogation of customer requirements
3. Creating work orders to contractors
4. Dealing with written & verbal complaints
5. Handling payments from customers
6. Co-ordination of plot / address information with customers and Data and Knowledge Management
7. Providing support and advice to other roles within Customer Operations
8. Adherence to all business key performance indicators
9. Resolution of billing exceptions
Knowledge and Skills
1. Sound understanding of mains network and impact of connection points and metering policies
2. Excellent experience in a customer facing organisation
3. Good understanding of Water and Wastewater asset records
4. Extensive knowledge of ICS, Locator Hub, UU GIS, Onemap, Macsi, Alto, and all Microsoft office applications
5. Ability to deal with customer queries over the phone
6. Good communication and organisation skills
7. Experience of working with contract partners
