ICT Technician required from September 2025 Permanent, Full Time – 37 hours per week, Whole Year Salary: Grade 7 - £29,093 - £32,654 per annum John Taylor MAT is looking for an experienced, accurate and flexible technician to join its newest, and only ‘all-through’ school in our Trust family. Built from the ground up, Rugeley John Taylor will serve local communities, offering a ‘gold standard’ learning experience to the youngest learners all the way through to sixth formers. Joining this brand-new school, opening initially with Year 7 in the secondary phase in September 2025, you will be the lead technician on site for all IT, communications and audio-visual equipment. Maintaining and updating hardware and software, you will play a key role in ensuring the learning and working environment is always fully operational. You could be ideal for this role if you have: Working knowledge and experience of using MS Windows 11, MS Intune, and MS 365 Copilot Keen interest in the field and up to date knowledge and skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support at all levels within the school Planning and organisational skills with an understanding of prioritisation and being able to flexible to meet demands Ability to work with minimal supervision with an understanding of when to escalate an issue A willingness to go the extra mile as the school and staff team evolves You will play a key role in the evolution of this new school.
