About the role
Support the Commercial & Estates Teams in the planning, and delivery of activities to support UCAS to achieve its business objectives
Key Responsibilities:
Understand the strategic direction of the Commercial and Estates team to enable appropriate prioritisation and programming of projects, initiatives and communications.
Ensure that all Commercial & Estates projects and programmes have appropriate authorisation to proceed.
Support the Commercial & Estates team to ensure the delivery of new products or services meet appropriate levels of quality, are on time and within budget.
Establish and maintain formal reporting arrangements on Commercial and Estates activities and programmes progress for the Executive team and senior stakeholders.
Support board reporting and policy reviews across Commercial and Estates Team.
Develop/Update and introduce Procurement management policies and processes to ensure outcomes are not compromised, and interests and influence are managed appropriately.

Skills, qualifications, and experience
Substantial track record and experience of Portfolio, Programme or Project Management using a variety of formal methodologies.
Substantial experience of managing third party suppliers in the delivery of project services.
Substantial experience of leading project and programme management teams.
Significant experience providing a pro-active, positive and creative approach to delivery and issue management.
Experience of Financial Management.
Excellent abilities to plan and work at a strategic level with customers, partners and commercial organisations.
Advanced technical understanding of the principles that underpin successful programme management including techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes, including risk management
A strong people leader, with a proven track record in motivating, nurturing, and developing teams
Package
Salary - up to £50,000 (dependent on experience)
