Job Description:
The NPD Process Manager will be responsible for the delivery of account specific NPD and EPD project briefs through Develop Gates and the day-to-day management of the gated NPD Process from concept to launch. This involves collaborating with key stakeholders/heads of departments to ensure that all developed products are commercially viable and technically safe & able to be processed to meet customer needs. A large part of the role will be to undertake production trials, validation, and paperwork associated with supporting the product launch process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supported by the wider NPD team, lead all NPD & EPD expectations of the business and customer ensuring ABP remains a market leading supplier.
2. Lead pretrial meetings and factory trials to ensure comprehensive data and reports are recorded for accurate cost capture.
3. Take ownership of the validation of products confirmed to launch with the wider onsite team.
4. Control validation costs, delivering monthly reports to track costs.
5. Ensure production processes for NPD deliver the required margin for our customers and the business.
6. Lead in customer presentations regarding factory sign-offs and preproduction.
7. Manage the workload of multiple customers and prioritize requirements on critical path creation, meeting the required key dates in the process.
8. Present facts and ideas clearly to internal and external customers.

6. A degree in relevant science, specialist qualifications, and/or equivalent work-based experience.
