GSL Education are seeking a Female Physical Education (PE) Teacher to work in a secondary school in Ashington. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about encouraging students to lead active and healthy lives through Physical Education. About the Role: As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to participate in various sports and physical activities. You will work collaboratively with other staff members to promote health and well-being within the school community.

Planning and delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons. Encouraging participation in extracurricular sports activities. Assessing and monitoring students’ progress in physical fitness. Working with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive environment. Requirements for a PE Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Physical Education in a UK secondary school is advantageous. Strong knowledge of various sports and fitness activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Benefits:

Have the right to work in the UK. Provide an up-to-date CV that covers the past 10 years with gaps not exceeding a month and includes all references from the past 2 years, with employer references from all places worked in the past 2 years. Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education. Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or completing an application for a new check.
