The Role We are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse to join the Trauma and Orthopaedics team at University Hospital Wishaw The Registered Nurse will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and the development of programmes of care, and/or the implementation and evaluation of these programmes ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients. The nurse is expected to carry out all relevant forms of care without direct supervision and may be required to demonstrate procedures and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff, as well as student nurses. What We'll Need You To Bring Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent time management skills Working knowledge of basic information technology It Would Be Great If You Also Have Evidence of further education and continuous professional development Educated to degree level in health related subject Training/qualification in infection control Knowledge of the treatment of relevant clinical conditions Expanded practice in venepuncture, cannulation, administration of intravenous drugs and systemic anti cancer therapies Looking to find out more?
