Microsoft D365 Enterprise Architect
Location: Remote (must be based in The UK/Ireland)
Permanent Salary: £115k - £140k + Bonus (Contractor consideration available)
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Enterprise Architect to serve as a crucial link between our Microsoft partner and end users. The ideal candidate will ensure that solutions are effectively designed, implemented, and aligned with both partner capabilities and end-user requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design and Implementation:
Collaborate with Microsoft partners to design and implement scalable, efficient enterprise solutions. Ensure solutions meet end-user requirements and align with strategic business goals. Oversee the integration of Microsoft technologies, especially D365 F&O, CE, Azure.
2. Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact between the Microsoft partner and end users. Understand and translate end-user needs into technical requirements. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
3. Architecture Development:
Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks and standards. Document current and future state architectures. Advocate for best practices in architecture design and implementation.
4. Vendor and Partner Management:
Evaluate and select appropriate solutions from Microsoft partners. Manage relationships with partners to ensure service level agreements are met. Conduct regular reviews to assess partner performance and alignment with business needs.
5. Risk and Change Management:
Identify potential risks in solution architectures and develop mitigation strategies. Implement change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
6. Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on emerging Microsoft technologies and industry best practices. Foster an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Skills and Competencies
1. Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, preferably with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
2. Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, CE, and Azure.
3. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
4. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Experience with vendor and partner management.
7. Familiarity with project management methodologies.
8. TOGAF certification is a plus.
Qualifications
1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture.
