Job Description We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities management team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of the facilities and equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with colleagues to resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of all work carried out. Provide excellent customer service to staff, students, and visitors. Support planned preventative maintenance schedules. Training and Development The successful candidate will be provided with full training opportunities, including enrollment in the following courses: LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) Training to ensure the proper maintenance and operation of ventilation systems. F-Gas Certification to handle fluorinated gases safely and in compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications and Experience Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably within a similar environment. Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
