This exciting opportunity begins in September 2025 and offers a competitive annual salary between £30,000 and £50,000, depending on experience. A fixed-term contract will be available following the successful completion of a probationary period. This role is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators with a passion for performance and the arts. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and imaginative drama and performing arts lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to express themselves. Develop and lead practical workshops, school plays, and creative projects that bring the curriculum to life. Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate arts across the wider curriculum and support school initiatives. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A background or specialism in Drama, Theatre, or Performing Arts. Creative, confident, and enthusiastic teaching style. Strong behaviour management and communication skills. A genuine desire to nurture and develop students’ confidence, teamwork, and artistic talents. Open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and seasoned educators. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
