NES Fircroft is excited to partner with an industry-leading power cabling client to find a talented Civil Construction Manager for a high-profile project. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead the planning and execution of civil engineering and cable installation works.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute civil engineering and cable installation works.
* Oversee route planning, linear duct installation, reinstatement, HDD trenchless crossings, and HV cable joint bay construction.
* Manage subcontractors and internal resources, ensuring quality and adherence to the inspection and test plan.
* Report status to the wider project team and ensure effective communication and coordination with all parties.
* Monitor project progress, suggest and implement mitigations for schedule slippage.
* Identify and mitigate risks, including QHSE, and seize opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental plans and regulations.
* Deliver high-quality installation/service within time, resource, and cost constraints.
What We’re Looking For:
* Education: Degree or formal qualification in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent, or relevant practical experience.
* Experience: Proven experience in turn-key land cable installation projects, including civils and cable installation scope. Understanding of marine cable installations at landfalls is a plus.
* Qualifications: UK NVQ/SMSTS, CSCS card (Black or Gold), and Temporary Works Experience/Awareness.
* Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and subcontractors. Ability to manage a team and communicate effectively.
* Technical Knowledge: Expertise in civil engineering works, duct installation, HDDs, and safety and quality standards in turnkey installation projects.
